Wool Work Coat【OR-4338】

1940年頃のアメリカンワークコートをベースに構築しました。
シンプルで直線的なコートの中に、ダーツの設計や深いベンツ開き、
スレキ裏地の使いなど、当時のテーラリング要素を取り入れて仕立てています。

生地には、経糸にシェットランドウール、緯糸にデニムで使用される太番手の糸を打ち込んだ、
コットン×ウールのツイル素材を採用。
メランジ感のある色目が特徴で、ヴィンテージのようなドライタッチな風合いに仕上げました。
さらに製品洗いをしっかりとかけることで、より味わい深い雰囲気を持たせています。

This coat is based on an American work coat from around 1940.
While maintaining a simple, straight silhouette, 
it incorporates tailoring elements from that era, such as darts, 
a deep vent, and a slub-weave lining.
The fabric is a cotton-wool twill made with Shetland wool 
for the warp and thick-gauge yarn—typically used in denim—for the weft.
It features a melange-like color and has been finished with a dry, 
vintage-inspired texture.
Furthermore, the garment has undergone a thorough 
wash to give it an even more distinctive, aged look.
